More Robot?

Yeah, so I got bored, I reworked the Robot image, adding different text, additional background elements, more light effects on Robot/speech bubble/heart, and maybe some other stuff I forgot...still a joke image pretty much, but a slightly more attractive one...maybe.

I need this...

I don't know why, but for some reason I really want this shirt...

...and if anyone I know stumbles across this and decides "Hey, I'm gonna make David look like a jackass by buying this shirt before he can and then wearing it all around town and telling everyone how awesome I am" just know that you can't cause it was my idea first and I'll tell everyone how dumb you are...plus I might, just for my own insane satisfaction, decide to beat you with a pool cue till you get detached retinas.

oh and the shirt is from House Industries, who make cool fonts that I can't afford to purchase.

If you couldn't tell, I spent considerably less time on this one than I did on all the others, this one also makes less sense and is less artistically interesting, but what it lacks it more than makes up for in shut-the-hell-up-and-stop-judging-me-ness.

Rambling plus another practice wallpaper...

First off, I changed my name in the title of the blog to include my middle initial because I hear that it's pretentious...I don't know what that means but it seems like something I should try and emulate...

As for the image, this is another practice thingy, this time the text says "Computer Hates You"...just so people using my computer have no misconceptions about how it feels about them. Oh and I did this one at double the resolution and I think I'll do them all at that size from now on, I think it looks better anyways, and really I'm the only one who cares so whatever.

Random Graphic Design practice

These are just some wallpaper sized designs I did just to practice and what not. If they look a little dark (I noticed it on other computers) its probably cause I made them on my laptop and the screen brightness is way high (not stoned) on it. Also just to clarify, they only say my name, not because I'm an ego-maniac, but because I needed to work with text and using my name required the least amount of thinking...that and because I'm awesome!

ROBOT VS. MONSTER!

So this is the animation I came up with for my final. It turned out really rough though, would have liked to have removed the motion tweens and just animated it frame by frame but it took a lot more time than I realized. Due to time I also had to remove a few sequences where Robot kept walking back a couple extra times....altogether it just ended up feeling like a rough draft for an animation...maybe I'll finish it someday the way I had it in my head.
